Choosing business internet and fixed line services

6 min read

Headline fiber speeds are the easiest thing to compare between providers and often the least important factor for a typical office. Uptime SLAs, static IP availability, and support response time usually matter more day to day.

Match the plan to what the office actually does

A sales office running cloud apps and video calls has very different requirements from a warehouse running a handful of POS terminals. Oversized business internet plans are a common, quiet source of overspend once the initial "safe" choice is never revisited.

Bundling with mobile

Carriers frequently offer better combined pricing when fixed-line and mobile are on the same corporate account — worth checking before treating them as two separate procurement decisions.
