Terms of Use
The terms on which we provide opexgenie.com and its free tools: the Telecom Score, the invoice audit and the UAE Telecom Starter Guide.
Last updated 9 October 2026
These terms apply to the public website at opexgenie.com, operated by OpexGenie from Dubai, United Arab Emirates. By using the site or submitting a form on it, you accept them. Paid use of the OpexGenie platform is governed by the customer agreement you sign with us, which prevails over these terms where the two differ.
Who the site is for
The site and its tools are for businesses and other organisations, not for consumers. By submitting a form you confirm that you are acting for your organisation, that you are authorised to share the information you send, and that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
The free tools
- Telecom Score. The score, fair market price and savings figures are estimates modelled on published UAE corporate mobile plans and the usage you enter. They are in UAE dirhams (AED) and are not a quotation from any operator.
- Invoice audit. The audit reflects the invoice pages you provide. It can only be as complete as those pages and any contract terms you share with them. A recoverable amount in the report is our assessment, not a guarantee that an operator will refund it.
- Starter guide and Knowledge Centre. These are general information about corporate telecom in the UAE at the time of writing. Operator plans, documentation requirements and regulations change, so confirm the current position with the operator before you act.
We may change, limit or withdraw a free tool at any time, and may decline a request, for example where an email address is not a business address or submissions are repeated.
Not professional advice
Nothing on this site is legal, tax or financial advice. Where we describe VAT recovery on telecom costs, we are describing how the platform maps usage for your finance team. Whether input VAT is recoverable in your case depends on the UAE VAT legislation and the guidance of the Federal Tax Authority, and should be confirmed with your tax adviser.
Independence from operators
OpexGenie is independent. We are not an agent, reseller or representative of du, e& or any other telecom operator, and we are not affiliated with the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA). Operator names and customer logos are the trade marks of their owners and are used only to identify them.
Results and testimonials
Savings figures, case studies and customer statements describe what specific customers achieved. They are not a promise of the same result for you, which depends on your contracts, usage and billing history.
Our content
The site, its text, design, the Telecom Score model and the OpexGenie, TeleGenie and FleetGenie names belong to OpexGenie or its licensors. You may view the site and share links to it. You may not copy it for commercial use, scrape it, or probe or disrupt it, including by automated submissions to its forms.
What you send us
You keep ownership of the invoices and information you send. You give us permission to use them to provide the tool or answer you asked for. How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy.
Liability
The site and the free tools are provided as they are, without charge and without warranty that they are complete, error-free or suited to a particular purpose. To the extent UAE law allows, OpexGenie is not liable for loss of profit, loss of savings or any indirect loss arising from use of the site or reliance on an estimate. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the laws of the United Arab Emirates, including for fraud or gross negligence.
Links to other sites
The site may link to operator portals, regulators and other third-party sites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates that apply there. We would rather resolve a concern directly, so please write to us first. Failing that, the courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction.
Business days and response times
Where we say we will respond within a business day, we mean Monday to Friday in Gulf Standard Time, excluding public holidays in the United Arab Emirates. Response times may be longer during Ramadan and the Eid holidays.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page with a new date. The version in force when you use the site is the one that applies.
